Dr. Kanhaiya Jee is an experienced physiotherapist, academician, anatomist, and researcher with more than 15 years of professional experience in physiotherapy, medical education, clinical research, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and neurorehabilitation. He is the Founder and Senior Physiotherapist at Anora Health Clinic and Physiotherapy Center, Anora Kala, Near Indira Canal, Faizabad Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – 226028, India. He also serves as Professor in the Department of Anatomy, where he is actively involved in medical education and research.
Dr. Jee earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Manipal University, Manipal, Udupi, Karnataka, India, where he developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, biomechanics, manual therapy, and evidence-based physiotherapy. He is a registered Life Member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) (Registration No. L-32338), a nationally recognized professional organization registered under the Public Trust Act (Trust No. F-1335) and the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (Registration No. 3376 of 1955–56).
He completed his PhD from Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad. His doctoral research focused on cervical canal stenosis, with special emphasis on its anatomical, morphometric, and clinical evaluation. His research has contributed to a better understanding of cervical spine disorders by integrating anatomical science with clinical practice and rehabilitation.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Jee has held various teaching positions and currently serves as Professor in the Department of Anatomy. He has extensive teaching experience in MBBS and paramedical programmes, delivering competency-based medical education in accordance with the National Medical Commission (NMC) curriculum. His teaching emphasizes the integration of anatomy with clinical medicine, radiological anatomy, and evidence-based healthcare.
Dr. Jee's research interests encompass clinical and applied anatomy, radiological anatomy, morphometric studies, cervical spine disorders, neuroanatomy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, developmental anatomy, anatomical variations, and translational medical research. He has authored more than 20 research papers published in PubMed-, Scopus-, and Embase-indexed national and international journals. His publications include studies on cervical canal stenosis, cervical facet joint arthrosis, dry bone morphometry, placental morphology, obesity-related cardiovascular indices, and rehabilitation sciences.
He has successfully completed the ICMR Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) and faculty development programmes in Medical Education Technology (MET), AETCOM, and the Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP) conducted by King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. These qualifications reflect his commitment to excellence in medical education, evidence-based clinical practice, and research.
Dr. Jee actively participates in national and international scientific conferences, faculty development programmes, interdisciplinary research collaborations, and professional development activities. His professional mission is to integrate physiotherapy, anatomical sciences, and translational research to advance rehabilitation, medical education, and patient-centred healthcare.
